B3 is an operating program of The Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies created to provide research and development services to Birthright Israel in partnership with the Birthright Israel Foundation.

In 2007, B3 initiated a grant program for Jewish Federations across North America. Grants provide Federations with funds to hire a B3 Professional whose primary function is to work cooperatively within the Federation (as a Federation employee) with Federation professionals and lay leadership to increase resources directed through the Federation to Taglit-Birthright Israel. In addition to the grants, B3 also provides resources and extensive training for all B3 Professionals.
